Relax not

Air Deccan, now featuring seats that no longer recline. The buttons are gone and the mechanics inside do not yield to fingers.

I think I’m avoiding this airline for a while.

We (alas) took Air India back from Tanzania and their *business class* seat wouldn’t recline!

And I suppose, with Air Deccan, one is grateful there IS a seat and you are not asked to squat on rush mats…and lie down during takeoff....or pray just before takeoff, as I swear used to happen on Bangladesh Biman flights…great confidence-booster!

    The merged beast is called National Aviation Company, branded as Air India, with new logo which is a combination of the old ones.

    i don’t think ticketing, route sharing etc has been ironed out yet.
