Bangalore map online

Some kind souls have put online maps of Bangalore and Delhi. About time!

virtualindia.msresearch.in has had detailed bangalore maps for quite some time now, right?

The website is however a pain to use, and the MS maps javascript API does use the map tiles from this server.
I've patched the javascript to make this: http://echo.co.in/gmap
Hope to make it more useful in the near future...

    They're nice maps, but I believe they dont quite align with satellite images, so plotting lat/long positions from a GPS, with the API is likely going to show up wrong.
    
    (correction: The API does *not* normally use tiles from the virtualindia.msresearch.in server)

seems to be an off by one error in the javascript for map scrolling

I wish I could get the maps in .gpx or any other(open?) format so that its only a matter of loading them on my GPS system! Any idea where to get those?
Actually for format does not matter as gpsbabel can convert any may wether magellen, Garmin etc., to .lcm(Lowrance, which is what I've got)
