    Long before I'd heard of Hugh, I was drawing cartoons on the back of business cards. Oh well.

      The Tablet PC is recent -- the colour artwork era. All his black and white work is on paper cards.

      So the Indians were getting more and more vocal about getting the Brits out of India. The Indians eventually got their country, but eventually, not instantly. Why did it take so long? Because there were a large number of also Indians serving in the Brit framework for society and thus keeping their hold intact.

      Those were the people too busy kissing ass to notice a revolution was afoot. Small scale versions of this happen all the time as business trends rise and fall.
