Nokia’s service centre near Dairy Circle says they need ten more days to source a replacement flash chip for my phone. They had promised delivery yesterday. *sigh*
At least, hopefully, they won’t hold on to it for two months like Salora (Sony Ericsson) did.

i have been taking rounds of "NOKIA care" for last 9 weeks and every time they have an answer "Please come next Friday". After counting 9 Fridays I wrote an aplication to Consumer Court and sent them a copy of notice. Now they are after me to withdraw the case and go for out of court settlement. This I think is the most appropriate way of dealing with them otherwise they will keep on doing Fridays and troubling people...

Just take the service receipt and tell them polietly every time you visit them to enter the date of visit and work not done ( they wdn't do it but polietly pursuade them).. the write an application and submit it toi Consumer Redressal Forum or Consumer Court in your area (mostly at all the district head quarters) Fee is nominal about 150 bucks. Your work is done. They will do the rest.

It's half-way between Dairy Circle and Forum, on the side opposite from Forum. Hard to miss.

Hi Guys,
I am having a problem with my Nokia Handset 7710 and its under warranty. I had already given it for a service at HCL Infinet on infantry road and they srcewed it as usual what they do with other customers and they dispatched the handset in a still more worst condition. I then lauched a complaint at the commercial street police station and took a cop with me who was already in a fix with them and it didnot work out. Now I have got my handset back and would like to get it serviced in a geniune place. Can anyone please suggest me a Authorised Nokia service centre in Bangalore.
