Another wet evening

Another Wet Evening
Rain every evening for a week. I’ve been lucky to escape its fury, but I can’t help but feel reined in every evening. Glorious evenings, spent indoors wishfully staring out. And then pleasant weather all of the next day.

Somehow that caption doesn’t run off the mouth very well. Got a better one?

If only it rained here. Its hot and dusty all the time. The sky is grey. Though not with clouds. Rajasthan is being extremely generous with dust nowadays on delhi. Waiting for the monsoons!

Can't agree more with that, though we should be thanking our stars that the infamous Loo has not struck yet and yeah, a monster of a jam on the Mehrauli-Gurgaon road helps in the yucky Monday morning feeling.

LOL, I am in noida so no jams for me here. Infact with the flyovers even East/South delhi is pretty okay. I guess you gurgaon guys will have to wait another 8 months for the flyover!

Yup, the flyover country in south/central/east Del rocks. Not really a G'gaon chap here though, the office just moved from ITO to there, making it the same trip for me in the opposite direction from south Del.

It was a friggin broken down truck that caused the mess and can you imagine, the idiotic cops let the tail end of the jam race through the other side, in the wrong lane, which in the process of getting back into the right lane up ahead ended up jamming the traffic coming from G'gaon for something like 2 kms.

Talk about pigheaded cops going hand-in-hand with even more pigheaded drivers!
