It rained in Bangalore today

Rain in Bangalore
And the weather was so utterly delightful. [info]urmila and I spent the better part of the afternoon huddled together in the drizzle, shooting black and white film that came in a recycled cassette.

Someone told me it was raining in Madras the past couple days too?

I'm freezing (+5 C) in here. It's occassionally sunny and mostly rainy with the result that I'm walking around in sandals sans jackets/heavy protection and getting frozen as a result. Argh, I officially hate spring weather! ;/

Nice pic! Is that a jersy bull?
P.S: I seem to have forgotten how the earth smells when it rains. It just snows here :(

Well teachers gave us a hard time remembering breed characteristics of these and other animals...Whole India is full of these amazing animals...Govt. spent billions of rupees for cross breeding and upgrading the Indian cattle and result is CHAOS...now we neither have PURE INDIAN cattle nor quality upgraded ones...whatever few we have Jace is after them...:p

Hehehehe, I wasn't the only one here who went through the process of memorizing cattle breed characteristics!! :)
I also remember that the " Ongole" variety was superior for its meat, where as the " Jersy" variety was superior for its milk production, and they crossed them to get a version which had both high beef and milk production.
