This public toilet sign complements the standard girl-in-frock glyph with a woman in a saree. The girl also has ribbons on her pigtails. Kudos to whoever designed this for adapting to local context.

Jayanagar, near the shopping complex. The larger glow-sign version had ribbons on the girls hair, while this didn’t.

The design’s great. just a minute, was wondering how the localized Gents public toilet would be, a dhoti or a kurtha ;-)

Gents version is the same as ever. Shirts and pants are a pretty universal dress for men.

Hi… That pic is hilarious! seriously, if someone has thought about the loo signs to such an extent, the rest of the building wouldn’t be too bad!

I have a 3650 and have a small collection of… well… unusual pics myself; and would like to share them too. How do I go about doing so? Do I send them to you or something?

The simplest way is to register at Flickr.com and upload there. Flickr makes it really easy to post to LiveJournal.
