How should I post pictures?

Poll: should I upload all my pictures at once, or one at a time? I’ve shot over 300 so far and have several nice ones. As a group they won’t get individual attention, and by posting one at a time, I’ll have enough to cover lean periods. But most of these are simply pretty pictures with nothing unique to say. They have more meaning in a group. All at once or one at a time?

What say you?

Why not post them in batches? say 10-15 at once, I think they'll get individual attention that way and the unique ones will stand out. :)

No offense :-), but this is like a quote from the Dilbert book "The Way of the Weasel". When the President asks the VP his opinion, the VP wakes up and says in all seriousness, "I think what you think." !!

Hah! 300 unique pictures is... rather improbable. I mostly shot the same scene several times with slight variations, so expect to see under 10% left when I'm done pruning.

    How about..

Group 'em up, and re-post the 'nice' ones separately, with a helpful caption "btw, this comes from [ post ] group...".

What if you can post most of the simply pretty pictures you think shall have meaning as a group together and save the several nice ones for the lean periods to be posted singly.

definitely in batches...your pictures are more interesting bacause of the write up you provide with them and a group publishing wouldnt do justice to the ideas behind the pics.

    A post at a time ...
... is what I'd say. However, keep the group option too, in case you have a bunch of photos with very strong co-relation or taken at the same place or same time. It is silly having an album called 'nature pics'. Something like 'The Heritage Mile' is much better. That's how my photoblog's 'album' section is the least updated. But I can't do without it either.

Patience, my man. They're coming, and at good frequency to keep your desktop fresh.
