A mundane routine

The Ceiling
This is up. I’m seeing a lot of up lately. It’s a different up every few days, but it’s not terribly exciting when all ups feature the usual suspects in only varying garb.

The trouble with Pune is, it’s not Bangalore. I have no activity in the evenings. Life has devolved into alternating between work and home, where “home” of course is variable. The trouble with all variations of “home” is, there’s no table, only a bed, and a bed basically offers only one view and does all it can to keep you content with it.

And so I’m seeing a lot of up.

Is that a fire alarm?! Wow, are you at a fancy place, or are these things uber common place in India, or what?

They are pretty common in india now. Infact most homes being constructed now come with fire alarms. with about 50% of those having a sprinkler system also

Umm you can go to the legendery Fergussan road about which all puneites keep hollering about. Infact every time you say MG road they will jump up and down and say Fergi road R0x0r ;). Then you can look sideways for some serious Bird Watching

Brigade road doesn't hold a candle to Linking Road, which in turn doesn't hold a candle to Connaught Place.

    thats quite a fan!

As for things to do..pune has many things to do. check out the FTII crowd and campus...if you do manage to go to the university, do visit the open air canteen and drink chai to my name!

FC road is quite a feast as usual. Otherwise there is always the Koregaon park area and MG road to keep you occupied. What kinda things are yuo looking to do? any drama club or some such thing wouldnt interest you, would you?
