More fireworks

Thanks for the comments, folks. Here’s another picture shot the same day. 78 second exposure.

More Fireworks

The blotch in the lower left is a rain drop.

Like this better. You could have cropped out the blotch.

I left it in to cover the hazy patch over the building. I need a lens hood.

I like this one better, because the fireworks are seen with respect to something - the buildings. You could have cropped the blotch, though, coz you weren't losing much in the picture anyway.

Agree about the buildings. I wish I had exposed the other one a while longer. The buildings are only visible as faint window lights (cropped out).

I left the blotch in because I liked the imperfection it created. I don't know why, but it seems to me a perfect picture would be terribly dull.

I managed to get the snaps in about 30 minutes.. There was an area where people (with lot of money to burn) were launching the arial fireworks. I just had to point in that direction and hope for a good picture.
