I have this theory that the rain causes traffic jams

That is, apart from the water and slush that makes two-wheeler riders single-file into the higher ground in the middle of the road. Heavy rain also forces two-wheeler riders off the roads, who wait for a reliable sign of weakness to invade again.

And so peak-traffic hour on Bannerghatta road is stretched all the way to 11 PM, while it ends at 9 in the rest of the city.

i beat ya all. took almost 2 hrs for what i'd take 15 mins at 10:30PM
Folks just dont care that's the prob.
    Saw many interesting incidents:
1)Cop telling car to take diversion as raod is blocked, car refusing to
2)Tempo with a wheel lodged deep in a pothole
3)Abandoned bus under a flyover at a signal
4)Hit and Run case with car trying to escase in the middle of a jam!!!
he almost ran into me in a bid to flee. The guy who got hit trails him by foot, picks a stone, breaks the front window, thros it at the door tried to assault the other front window etc etc..car tries to flee again. No it aint funny. Psycho car tries to hit mine, stops there and the stoner comes along.
