I'm surprised nobody has called me a national anomaly yet.

Yeah, they did. I heard about it today though I did hear the patake yesterday too, and I'm beginning to belive the series wasn't fixed after all :)) The first four matches seemed more like negotiations.

Say, I don't care for either of the two either but have you ever wondered what all those people do with all the firecrackers they buy when the Indian team loses?

Same them for Diwali? Donate them to local politicians for election results day? Throw them in a bonfire where they will roast joylessly?

      Maybe we should ask them.

we had dinner out last night (details not worth mentioning) which had us right on MG road just when india won.. .. a motorcade of crazy fans just started circling MG road with huge flags .. cops came out and blocked half the road.. but these joyful beings just took whatever lane they could and kept coming back again and again. J's aunt and uncle from australia were totally thrilled and kept clicking pictures and yelling along with them everytime they passed..
    heh
