The best of all three worlds
Windows XP and Knoppix running in virtual machines in Mac OS X:

Virtual PC's integration between Windows XP and Mac OS X is amazing. I can browse my Mac folders from within Windows, can drag and drop files between Mac and Windows desktops, can share the clipboard, can switch to full screen mode, can change resolutions simply by resizing the window in OSX, and can synchronise the time in the virtual machine with the host.
Virtual PC also provides DHCP and NAT services so the OS in the virtual machine can connect to the Net and use all LAN services.
Now to get printing to also work seamlessly...

I have Windows for some research into how it handles folder views. I'll be installing Red Hat 9 so I tinker with Mono and Dashboard. The rest, I'll not bother with unless a suitable purpose comes up.
