Been to the butchers often enough as a kid but I think if I ever saw anything like that, it'd give me enough of a reason to go veggie again.

Have always maintained - if you cant yourself butcher the animal you eat then you have no right to eat it

Very well written..hehe maybe I should be posting this on his journal.
I guess slaughtering , if it has to be done should atleast be done in a humane fashion...what does classify as humane Im unsure of . An injection..?? .putting the animal to sleep?

I just watched 'babe'...and his post was so awful to read after that movie ..:(

  The only thing that classifies as humane is "not killing" the animal. Become a veggie - not such a bad thing.

sigh...
Halal butchering is worse. I think the groups who only eat Halal butchered meat are BARBARIANS and I believe this planet would be a LOT BETTER without them.
